Community Service.

In addition to providing a wide range of services for our clients, Bill Caye is actively engaged in serving the public. He participates in Pittsburgh charitable projects, serves on non-profit boards and provides pro-bono legal services to local clients. This includes the Board of Governors of Duquesne University Law Alumni Association and Duquesne University Alumni Association, in addition to the South Fayette Board of Standards and Library Board. Bill is also a voting member of the Executive Board of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, Western Chapter.

It is Bill’s belief that involvement in these endeavors is at the core of his culture and success.

In 2017, Bill Caye was nominated by a number of colleagues and lifelong friends for the Post-Gazette Jefferson Awards for volunteerism. He was also the recipient of the Salute to Legal Excellence award issued by Classic Events in 2017 for his legal work in the community representing children and seniors.

Moreover, Bill mentors younger attorneys and rather than shared or referral fees, he asks that they simply do their best to represent their clients and to ask for assistance when in doubt. He also takes on public speaking appearances for local charities and church or school programs, to freely lecture or present topics impacting the perception of the legal profession with the public.

Through defending people’s rights, promoting legal education and helping non-profit programs, Bill Caye encourages public service that benefits the community.
